Having participated in mediations and arbitrations for over twenty years, Dan recently attended and successfully completed training to serve as an arbitrator or mediator. In April of 2009, he completed his training by the International Academy of Dispute Resolution and became an authorized Mediator of the Academy. View Dan's Mediation Certificate. In addition to his membership in the Academy, Dan is also a member of the American Academy of ADR Attorneys.

Dan has been working with noted author and speaker Marc Freeman on a presentation entitled "Negotiating & Renegotiating Ethically." Marc Freeman is the author of "Renegotiating with Integrity It's Not Business, It's Personal," and he is the President of Marc Freeman & Associates.
